HPU Students to Ring Closing Bell at NYSE

Several business and finance students at High Point University will be on-hand to help close business for the day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Monday, October 12th they’ll be ringing the closing bell.

Participating in the event, which will be held at 4 p.m. at the New York Stock Exchange, are 10 students, including Andrew Realon, president of the Student Government Association, as well as Dr. Nido Qubein, president of HPU; Dr. Dennis Carroll, provost and vice president for academic affairs; Chris Dudley, vice president for administration; Dr. Jim Wehrley, dean of the Earl N. Phillips School of Business; Dr. Stephanie Crofton, associate dean of the Earl N. Phillips School of Business; Dr. Alberta Herron, dean of the Norcross Graduate School; and Marsha Slane, chair of the HPU Board of Trustees.
