HPU Joins List of Universities Going ‘Smoke-Free’
With more college campuses across the country going tobacco free, today’s younger generation has fewer places than ever to light up. The latest school to go ’smoke-free’ is High Point University. Starting June 1st, the school’s campus, indoors and outdoors, will be smoke-free. Students will be forced to leave campus to smoke. The ban shouldn’t come as a surprise to students because smoking has been banned inside residence halls and buildings for years.
